Heather O'Day writes about falling in love and forging unlikely friendships, often while her characters grapple with grief. She works best from her hammock, which abuts a picturesque slice of cow-studded farmland in rural Maine. She's a freelance writer and editor and her byline has appeared in Dwell, Remodelista, and Apartment Therapy. She studied business management at Endicott College, where she met her husband. She loves him, her rescue pup, and drinking hot chocolate year-round.
