Amelie Ahern-Williams is an illustrator from Wales, currently studying Illustration Animation BA at Kingston School of Art, London. They enjoy experimenting with colour and texture in their work, using a combination of traditional monoprint, collage, and digital drawing software. Amelie aims to create inclusive media, with a particular interest in making queer and gender-diverse representation more accessible to younger readers. Amelie’s work has also been longlisted for the 2023 AOI World Illustration Awards, under children’s publishing, and was featured in the UAL Origins Creatives exhibition 2022. At university, they were once awarded a small golden potato for a drawing of a caterpillar. This is amongst the highest of their accolades.
